Why Choose Us

You'll Be Seen Right Away!

Orthopaedic Associates, Inc. can provide you with urgent office visits nearly every work-day with one of our physicians. We have always taken pride in our ability to be available to you. Multiple orthopaedic conditions can be treated without surgery but should you need surgery, rest assured that your doctor, not a PA, intern, resident or fellow, will perform your entire procedure.

Orthopaedic Associates, Inc. is comprised of eleven physicians: ten Orthopaedic Surgeons which are all Board-Certified and Re-Certified fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), one Board-Certified adult Rheumatologist, and one Board-Certified Podiatrist. The physicians and staff cover nearly every aspect of surgical and nonsurgical care of the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints utilizing “cutting edge,” cost efficient, and high quality techniques and technology. This personalized superior care and efficiency has been recognized by Blue Cross of RI with a “level 1” rating and by United Health with their “Premium Designation”; with United this means you would have a $0 copay with us because of our proven quality and efficiency statistics. Furthermore our position as “Official Orthopaedic Surgeons” with Providence College Athletics is yet another example of this high quality care.

Orthopaedic Associates physicians remain active with the academic community but for the most part are a community based practice. Many hold Professor Appointments at both Brown and Boston Universities, helping to teach the upcoming generation of doctors. We have students with us nearly every day in our office.

Our physicians are leaders. Many currently or recently have held hospital Board of Trustee appointments and hospital medical staff leadership positions, such as Chief of Staff, Orthopaedic Department Chairman and Medical Staff Committee Chairman. In addition, our physicians currently or recently have held leadership and Presidential appointments in the Rhode Island Orthopaedic Society.

We would welcome the opportunity to have you as a patient. If you have any questions, always feel free to contact our office and our trained staff will assist you in any way possible.
